In his quest to reinvent himself can Jean Claude Van Damme go two for two?  With the US theatrical release of the stellar JCVD drawing near - and while it’s nice to be quoted in the new US trailer it would’ve been even nicer if they’d gotten our URL correct - we now move our attention to Full Love, the new project Van Damme wrote, produced, directed and stars in.

Very little is known about Full Love at the moment other than that it was shot in Thailand and is a very personal project for the man behind it, so personal that two of his children - Kristopher and Bianca Van Varenberg - both have roles in it.  As for Van Damme himself, he describes it as being “based on a true story, based in another reality”, which is as confusing as it is intriguing.  Beyond that he simply notes that it is “about love, friendship, and dedication.”

But while we may not have plot details just yet, what we do have are the first five images from the film to be released anywhere, so hit the link below to check them out!

TWITCH.com is my new favourite site.  That dude is a killer sound designer.  Can’t find that movie review, though.

That JCVD trailer you’re linking to on Yahoo.com seems to feature English dialogue in places where previous trailers had French dialogue.  Has this movie been screwed around with by Peace Arch?  Because I won’t spend a penny on their version if that’s the case.

haven’t actually been able to watch the trailer myself - was just alerted to the typo, not the first time it’s happened -but parts of the film do play out in English. Everyting in the courtroom and with his agent, for example ...

Ah soo it WAS twitchfilm that got pointed out in the trailer, funny. Probably because the logo says TWITCH instead of TWITCHfilm mates. But kudos.

Its goot to see JCVD getting a US & UK release, Peace Arch in the States and Revolvver handling the UK release....and “Full Love” looks cool...Jean-Claude was in fine form when I visited the set and its a project he’s been wanting to do for a long time..

Yeah it looks like they’ve dubbed at least some of the trailer. Which probably means that the film has been dubbed as well.

There was some spoken English in the French trailers, but the American trailer has English dialogue in for dialogue that was definitely NOT English in the previous trailers, and I just wanted to make sure Peace Arch hadn’t actually been retarded enough to do that to the actual movie.

Indeed, they’ve dubbed the trailer by giving the illusion that practically everything is in English here (and admittedly most of the scenes in the trailer are the engilsh scenes....But...) the cops and a couple other characters are painfully obviously dubbed.  Here is hoping that the version put out around here is the original language version (subtitles), which does have about 15-20% of its dialogue in English

Yeah I’m kinda fed up seeing quotes from this Todd Smith guy, a wordy gent though I cannot deny. wink
