Godzilla Final Wars DVD Review
Tempted to drop coin on the Thai DVD of Godzilla Final Wars? I did, just because I'm impatient and god only knows when a properly subtitled version will release but Logboy jsut sent me the link to the first proper review has turned up over on Tokyo Monsters and it sounds a bit dodgy. Good thing it's cheap. Check the review here.

The DVD is really bad. I watched it yesterday. The non-anamorphic widescreen transfer is like a 5th generation VHS copy of a DVD. The sound is tinny, and the Japanese track dubs EVERYONE (even Don Frye and people in the US scenes). At least it's uncut, and not 95 minutes as the packaging states. Looks like I'll probably be getting the Japanese edition.
