Just surfaced from my Hanzo the Razor boxset - two down, one to go - to check my email and found a note from Logboy directing me here: the official Eureka Project website, a new giant robot anime from Bones - the studio behind Wolf's Rain among other things. Gotta say the character and mech designs are sweet and the trailer looks mighty nice as well. You can find more clips here.
The show starts hitting DVD in Japan in July and will also be one of the first titles available on the PSPs new UMD format ...

I like the character designs seen in the trailer but I'm not a huge fan of mecha plus recent shows have been quite disapointing storywise. The premise also looks as generic as it can get but maybe there are some surprises along the way.
Personally I'm keeping my eye on only one new show that seems to be quite well uderwraps as I can't find any info on it apart from the official site/ANN page that states a few of the staff.
Why I'm interested in the show..? Well it amazingly has two very popular artists working on it; Range Murata (Last Exile, Blue Submarine No. 6) and even more interestingly, the elusive Kenichi Sonoda (Gunsmith Cats, Bubblegum Crisis) who hasn't done anything anime-related in years! I absolutely adore Sonoda's attention to detail and must say that he draws some of the best cars and mechanics in anime and manga. Really interested in seeing what the show is about.
The website for the show is at http://www.solty.net and on the bottom it says "Next renewal is May", so hopefully there will be new info then - at least what genre the show will be.

Thanks for the update, Fabool. I loved Murata's work on on Last Exile and am definitely looking out for anything else he does.
