Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Trailer. And the Download Mayhem Thereof.

Okay, I'll try to keep this up to snuff as best as I can, but at the time of writing, there are currently only a few active sites carrying the televised Revenge of the Sith Trailer simply because there's a hoard of Star Geeks downloading it and slamming sites with bandwidth problems all across the universe.
At this very moment, these are the ones I can find working: (Movie-list.com's went down)
*This List Last Updated on March 12, 5:00am EST*

*Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Trailer -- Link #1 Mpg (25 Megs)
*Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Trailer -- Link #2<--- Bandwidth-inated
*Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Trailer -- Link #3.. Windows Media. Some guy has it streaming right off his own home page. Brave man.

*Star Wars: ROTSr -- This one's 50 Megs - because of better quality.
*Mirror of the Above
*Yet another - very populated - Torrent
BT -Efnet Torrent - over 43,000 completes so far.

More links or less links as they come or die. Whichever comes first. Ah, impatience....

Didn't look that good to me.
Of course I'll be buying it on DVD in the hopes of a good documentary and getting the artbook but as a movie, it will probably be fairly poor. The dialogue in that trailer got me chuckling a few times.

i thought it looked really good. while it was downloading it appeared on the tv in the next room and looked great on the big screen. great CGI if a little obvious on the people / characters...

the 50 meg trailer actually looks really sharp (if that's what you were trying to say hehehehe) ..especially for being off the tele.. fullscreen looked perfectly sharp on my computer.

Yes, we need a Quicktime version badly. -- well, a REAL quicktime version.

The trailer at my site is pretty good and is only 38MB. :-)

Well done, Dave. Well done.

I have to say I was quite impressed with this trailer. The first trailer (the teaser) and the poster were rather underwhelming, but this trailer seems to really get to the heart of the conflict and it brought out the long buried Star Wars geek in me. May 19, come quickly!

Bring on the PG-13 action, Lucas!

Luckily I got in on movie-lists's High-Res QT encode just before it went down. It's very sexy.

It's pretty sweet when the emperor charges at the Jedi and the music takes a dark turn...

Yeah the trailer's all right, but I don't understand people flying off the handle about it, spare if they are Star Wars fanatics and will like anything Star Wars related - which there is lots of. But as a Stand-alone trailer, I think it's about average. It'll be a long time until I see the Cinemas-Standing-Ovation-after-the-LOTR-Trailers phenomenon..

This trailer, while it tempts you with really cool shots and images, we're only told what we already know. "Anakin goes bad".

But that's kind of it, the rest is just a mash of various .5 second clips put to music.- Which is fine, but doesn't really give a lot of "umph" that you see in the LOTR trailers or even that sarcastic Hitchhiker's trailer...

I am that "brave man" that you listed above. I had it streaming off my website for 24 hours, and within that time I had 90gigs of bandwidth sucked!

But, all is well. I will email a copy to anyone that wants it. (since I had to take it down)

email: scottdonaldson@gmail.com

I may post more clips on my site soon, but it will have to be after I pay for more bw. :P
