Gregg Araki's latest film is receiving lots of attention in art-houses around France. In what seems to be another controversial effort from the director of the now notorious DOOM GENERATION Araki has created a plot that to say the least sounds quite "interesting"- a teenage hustler and a young man create a friendship based on their obsession with alien abductions. This is probably based on the book by Scott Heim of the same title, about a young man who thinks he was abducted by aliens due to a block in his memory. The book is fantastic but it's translation into film will be a little rough, even for Araki. But it'll be interesting to see what he does. Now if someone could do Heim's other book, IN AWE...

This looks just too good. I loved the sheer outpouring of rage in... "I WAS BLEEDING, I KEPT PASSING OUT, I WET MY F*CKING BED - AND YOU NEVER EVEN ASKED WHY!". Truly inspired.
