6ixtynin9 Remake News ...
Okay, I know this makes three 6ixtynin9 related posts in a row, but I just stumbled across this and it bears mentioning ...
It looks as though Thailand has jumped aboard the great big steaming train of Hollywood remakes ... 6ixtynin9 is slated to be remade for North American audiences for release in 2006. Directing? Wait for it ... the guy who made The Lizzie McGuire Movie. And his only previous film starred Tori Spelling. Pardon me while I go gouge out my eyes ...
Good Lord, people, make it stop!

Maybe Hollywood's logic is:
"Well, ~WE~ haven't heard of it, so why should it be directed by someone we've heard of?"
As lame as that sounds, it almost makes sense considering how loopy the decision in question is.
