when will Sympathy for Lady Vengeance make it's debut?

Lady-Vengeance.jpgDespite reportedly getting numerous offers [or love calls?] from Japan and European coutries for distribution deals Sympathy for Lady Vengeance director, Chan-wook Park, stands by his intentions to debut the final picture in his Vengeance Trilogy at the Berlin International Film Festival to be held in Germany in February, next year. The film is set to open in theatres in Korea in June.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is the third film following Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Old Boy. We'll keep a close eye on reaction to this wildly anticipated finale when it screens at the festival.

It won't be a finished print if the festival is held in February. I wonder if it'll even make the planned June 2005 release date in Korea. They still haven't been able to cast one of the leads, the younger man who falls for Lee Young-Ae's Lady Vengeance character. Choi Min-Shik will join the production and films his scenes as LV's nemesis (or the Bill to Lee's The Bride) in January.
