Todd has the Japanese Boxset, but it has no subtitles. Todd also has said the vague possibility is that the film will get a release on DVD in the USA (with subs) in March 2005. For now, we know this: the thing will hit American Cinemas during January 2005.

The official website for the USA is also now up, and it's here.

You need to post things like this more often. I actually hadn't received my Appleseed box and was starting to get a little nervous. Then you posted this and a couple hours later my mailman came by with a big box 'o' love ... Appleseed, the Mei Ah remaster of In the Mood For Love (moving up from my original copy of dubious origin), the Ghost in the Shell 2 animated soundtrack and New Police Story. And a friend sent me a pair of Joseph Arthur performance bootlegs. It was a good mail day and I put it all down to this post.
Tomorrow I would like you to post something along the lines of "Todd received one million dollars in the mail today."

Oh ... the Appleseed box? Sweeeeeeeet ... the disc has the normal chapter index and then a seperate fight index. I haven't watched much yet, but the trailers really only hint at what's in here ... gooooooood stuff ...
