The Japanese trailer for Steven Chow's Kung Fu Hustle has just turned up online. Go, watch, now. Sure, the narration is all in Japanese but this is the first full length trailer for the film anywhere and also the first to show any significant amount of fight choreography and effects work. Looking good? Oh, yes.
Here it is in Real Video and Windows Media formats.

I was one of the lucky ones to see Kung Fu Hustle in Toronto before the print was damaged (or taken away to prevent piracy as the conspiracy goes)
There will not be a more pure FUN movie this year (but Zebraman is a close second). Capsule review for Kung-fu Hustle here.

Looks amazing. Stephen Chow is a genius, and there's no doubt in my mind that this film will top Shaolin Soccer in terms of spectacle. The film hasn't been released in HK theatres yet, so expect a DVD in early 2005.
