Anyhow : 9 Souls = Toshiaki Toyoda. Director of Blue Spring. Personally, Blue Spring = Dull. Some loved it. Bullet Ballet = Shinya Tsukamoto. Superb looking stuff.
These are due early next year.

I think I've probably said enough about these that people know I've been itching for both ... those are sweet covers, too. Probably the best design work Artsmagic has done so far.
I like Blue Spring a fair bit, but that has a lot to do with my having seen 9 Souls first. 9 Souls is a much better film on all levels - a near perfect fusion of style and substance. It's interesting to go back to Pornostar and Blue Spring and see how Toyoda's style has developed from film to film ... he's refining and growing all the time.
