New Teaser for Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero's [Rec]

rec.jpgWe've been tracking the progress of new Spanish horror picture [Rec] with increasing interest for some time now and our thanks go out to Roberto for pointing the way to a new teaser for the film. This one's more action oriented than the original and appears to be essentially a single scene from the film with titles cut in, which gives a nice feel for the adrenaline quotient in the beast. Which is rather high. Nice.

I'm excited for this project. I've enjoyed all of Balaquero's work. Plaza has grown on me - I think his short included on the SMALL GAUGE TRAUMA disc (name escapes me) remains the strongest thing he's done.

The number of 1st person projects on the horizon is interesting. Guess we'll have to wait and see where each takes the concept.
