Herzog's Rescue Dawn Rolls Out July 20th

Werner Herzog seems an unlikely director to receive a major summer roll out for any of his films here in North America and yet that's exactly what's happening with MGM slated to put his Rescue Dawn on a good number of screens starting July 20th. A follow up of sorts to Little Dieter Needs to Fly the film is built around incredibly strong performances from both Steve Zahn and Christian Bale, who once again does unholy things to his own body in the name of his craft. If there's anyone out there more willing to put himself through hell to prepare for a film than Bale, I don't know who it is ... we've covered this film a fair bit around here, here's a recap:
