Remy Larochelle and Tomoya Sato Find a Home At Crippled Brothers.

New Canadian DVD label Crippled Brothers Films have just released their first quartet of titles, cult Canadian sci-fi mixed media experiment Mecanix by Remy Larochelle and a trio of pictures by Japanese cult director Tomoya Sato, L'Ilya, Shita and Marehito. All are available now from the Crippled Brothers website and there are trailers online at YouTube.

I just watched all 4 trailers.
I'm not at all excited about Mecanix. (maybe it was just a poor trailer?)
..however, all three Tomoya Sato films look really interesting.
Crippled Brothers will be a label to keep a sharp eye on!

L'Ilya is on the Small Gauge Trauma set along with the excellent Abuelitos and Infini, which makes this release a little less desireable in my book. I will keep an eye on this label though.
