Everyone Loves A Bit of Lust

Not sure why I haven't been paying more attention to the latest from Ang Lee - whose work I absolutely love - but the trailer for Lust, Caution has arrived online (and was brought to my attention by the fine lads at 24 Frames Per Second, which you really should be reading if you aren't already) and is looking very, very good. It hits all of the Lee trademarks and does so in a truly elegant style and I can only hope that his leading role in the latest by Oscar winning director Lee will bring Tony Leung some much deserved love here in the west.

Also appearing online is a music video for the latest single by Lust, Caution co-star Wang Lee-Hom, which has some odd ties to the film despite the music not appearing anywhere in it. You can find all the details - as well as the video - here but the short version is that the video for the 'inspired by' song was shot by Lust, Caution's cinematographer and the lyrics are credited to the character Wang plays in the film.
