Invisible Target Blog Launches

Benny Chan's latest actioner, Invisible Target continues to wind its way through the post production process, aiming for a late summer release, and the film has just launched its own blog. It's Chinese only, of course, and so not of much use informationally to English speakers but it does include some photos, the trailer and a behind the scenes reel.

It was interesting to take a look at the trailer, the first time I've actually done so since seeing the entended promo reel they ran for the film at the HK Filmart. Most of the trailer footage also appeared in that reel, although in much rougher form and it's startling to see how much better it looks now with the full benefit of post production. This is rounding into shape as just a solid, old school Hong Kong actioner, my only complaint about the promo efforts so far being that they feature very little of Wu Jing - the one true martial artist of the bunch - in favor of the lead trio of Nic Tse, Shawn Yue and Jaycee Chan. The behind the scenes reel is worthwhile as well. If you want to see some on set action, that's in there. If you want to see Nic Tse getting a haircut - and who wouldn't? He's dreamy - you can do that, too. Heck, you can even watch Jaycee's slightly famous father signing autographs for the crew.
