Bordertown Trailer

Could that actually be Jennifer Lopez acting? It has been such a long time - if you recall a decade ago when she showed some serious promise in Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight (or as some people like to call it: "Oceans 10"). Of course since that time she has voluntarily put herself through the media meat-grinder like few others outside the Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole-Smith set. Upon watching this trailer, it was sort of shocking to see her playing an actual character. I pass this onto you, even if it flirts to be outside the (relative unrestrained) scope of Twitch. Furthermore, it is always nice to see Martin Sheen as well as (also rare) a seemingly restrained Antonio Banderas performance.

"Set on the U.S.-Mexico border, the film centers on a journalist who investigates a series of murders that take place in the vicinity of some U.S.-owned factories in the region."

Bordertown played way back in the 2006 Cannes Marketplace and is scheduled for a limited release in the US in August 2007.
