well it's been 5 years since PDL. Please, oh Gods, make this movie financially successful. I can only go see it so many (many)times.

His films are so emo.

THERE WILL BE BLOOD...and if it's directed by PTA, IT WILL BE PRETENTIOUS.

Meh. Colour me underwhelmed.

Of course, I haven't liked anything he's done after Boogie Nights, so...

Everytime he comes out with a new film I always like it better than the last (Punch-Drunk Love is my favorite PT Anderson film so far) so hopefully this continues the trend.

Doh! I actually like PDL quite a lot, don't know why that dropped out of my head when writing that. I consider Magnolia pretty much a perfect film, though.

I really liked Alien vs. Predator.

Well there is allot of fire and oil but no blood.

Actually I am in the minority -- Boogie Nights is the only film of Anderson's I don't really like.
