New Rescue Dawn Trailer

While none of us here actually loved Rescue Dawn, this is more a testament to the strength of the rest of Herzog's body of work than to the fact that the film is bad. In fact, it is quite the crowd pleaser that might even have a chance in the United States mainstream if MGM put some marketing money behind it. The performance of the two leads, particularly Steve Zahn, who let's face it - is good in everything, are solid even if the film gets a little rah rah American in parts. Thailand never looked so beautiful or brutal subbing in for Vietnam.
