Dynamite Warrior (aka Tabunfire) Finally on R1 USA DVD July 17th 2007.

Kept a lot of the information at arms length, simply because (I think) the trailer does the best talking for this film... if you liked 'Ong Bak', 'Born to Fight', 'Tom Yum Goong' (what?! you liked it?!) or 'Mercury Man' (what?!?! you bought and liked it?!?!) any other recent Thai action, oddities or genre mash-ups, then this is worth a nosey. Seriously, one of the DVDs to note this year, and straight on my pre-orders list.

This is such an awful movie on every level, and I'm Thai! You guys need to stop promoting it too much. I don't want foreigners to think that this is all Thai cinema is capable of. It's such ridiculous crap.

Agreed, this movie is beyond awful. I saw it at the Udine Festival - the first scene is not bad everything that comes after is incredibly bad.

well, the thing is (jack burton) that :
1. havent seen it.
2. companies generally dont make it possible for us to see it in advance.
3. opinions vary.
4. we kind of write about what we want... not with the balance towards readers,
but with out own interest being the lead to the potential for others to find something in common with regards what we're interested in.
