Japanisches Filmfestival Hamburg 2007

The program for this year's Japanisches Filmfestival Hamburg is online; the festival runs from May 16th to 20th. Amongst the lesser-known movies scheduled to be screened at the festival are Die Silbermaske (Shirubâ Kamen) - directed by the late Akio Jissôji (1st story / dai-1 hanashi), Tsugumi Kitaura (2nd story / dai-2 hanashi), and Mitsunori Hattori (3rd story / dai-3 hanashi) - Kaizô Hayashi's Detective Office 5 (Tantei Jimusho 5 - 5 nanbâ de yobareru tantei-tachi no monogatari) - which is comprised of two stories, "Detective Office 5 - Detective 591" ("Shiritsu-tantei 591: rakuen") and "Detective Office 5 - Detective 522" ("Shiritsu-tantei 522: shitsurakuen") - Tôru Kamei's Woman Transformation (Yôkai kidan), Takahisa Zeze's Sanctuary (Mrs.) - a.k.a. "Sankuchuari" - and Kei Horie's The Little Finger & the Forbidden Body (Zenshin to koyubi).
