The Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow Gets ... Er ... Rolling ...

(Posted In Random Festival News )

rollingroadshow.jpgNow here's a fun event: the good folk at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin are taking a series of films on a cross country tour of the good ol' USA. But not just any films in any towns. Nope. The Rolling Road Show is a series of film screenings that shows films in locations of special importance to the film itself. Fer instance: you get Lost Boys in Santa Cruz, North by Northwest at Mt. Rushmore, Goldfinger at Fort Knox and more, more, more. The only question I've got is why they aren't showing Resident Evil 2 here in Toronto. Oh, wait a second ... I think I know the answer ...

Check the official Roadshow website for all the details.

The one in the picture looks like it would've been the coolest to have attended...although they should've done it further up the peak. Wonder if they served mashed potatoes.
