If you're an aspiring film maker here in Canada you should already be well familiar with the Canadian Film Centre. Not only do they run the Worldwide Short Film Festival - which should be announcing all sorts of good stuff soon - but they're also a major developer of local talent, being one of the driving forces behind Paul Fox's The Dark Hours and Vincenzo Natali's Cube, to name just a pair of Twitch-y sorts of projects they've brought to fruition. Well, they do TV to, and if you're looking at exploring how the industry works up here this is a good way to do it.
Here's their official pitch:
DREAM IT. LEARN IT. WRITE IT.
