Marché du Film: Matt Zettell's THE CELLAR DOOR

Distribution rights for Matt Zettell's The Cellar Door are to be offered for sale by TriCoast International at this year's Marché du Film in Cannes, which runs from May 16th to 26th.

As was previously reported here and there on Twitch, the screenplay for The Cellar Door was written by Christopher Nelson. The movie stars James DuMont as Herman, Michelle Tomlinson as Rudy, Heather Sconyers as Christa, Annie Coffey as Wendy, Christina Reynolds as Jennifer, Melina Bielefelt as missionary #1, and Algernon D'Ammassa as missionary #2.

Here's a synopsis for The Cellar Door from the official website for the movie: "Herman has been searching for the perfect girl. But all he's found are pieces of her - a chunk of hair, a severed finger, a jar of blood - until Rudy. However, she refuses to play along with his twisted game of love. Will she escape thru The Cellar Door, or die trying?"
