Asia in Italy: Far East Film Fest Announces

The program for the Ninth Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy, has been posted online. As usual, it's a stellar line-up.

Many of the films have been covered here at Twitch, including my personal recommendations Curiosity Kills the Cat, Dog Bite Dog, My Name is Fame, and A Dirty Carnival, but, really, it's a great round-up of recent Asian cinema with a number of international premieres and hotly anticipated titles from China, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan, not to mention the previously-announced Patrick Tam retrospective.
