Somebody really needs to release both of these in the US. ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD looks hysterical and it'd be a shame if I'll have to import Russian or Japanese DVDs just to see it.
Man these films look bad. Haven't the right for these two suckers been available for a long while now? All said though, I'd rent them both in a flash if they were available in R1.
Of course they look bad but in a most entertaining way. It's odd that Mattei's recent films don't get released in English language territories. I can't find any European releases for these latest two either. Labels certainly have no shame releasing much cheaper looking and infinitely more unwatchable crap (Ulli Lommel anyone?) so that can't be the reason. My guess is that they are asking for more money than these would be worth to anyone with good business sense.
