Uwe Boll's Seed is scheduled to have its world première at the Weekend of Fear (WOF) 2007 in Erlangen, Germany on April 27th (technically, April 28th) at around 12:00 a.m.; Boll is expected to attend.

The screenplay for Seed was written by Boll. The movie stars Michael Paré as Detective Bishop, Ralf Moeller (a.k.a. Ralf Möller) as Warden Wright, Will Sanderson as Max Seed, Jodelle Ferland as Detective Bishop's daughter, Andrew Jackson as Dr. Parker Wickson, Michael Eklund as the executioner, John Sampson as Officer D. Ward, and Mike Dopud as Flynn.

Here's a description of Seed from the official website for the movie: "US Federal Law: If you have been convicted to death by the electric chair & survive three jolts of 15,000 volts each for 15 seconds, you get to go free. ¶ Seed, an insane mass murderer, is scheduled for execution at the hands of Warden Wright. Before the executioner throws the switch, Wright steps in front of Seed, 'Do you have any last words?' Seed, 'I'll see you again.' ¶ After three attempts to electrocute, complete with boiling blood that steeps from his eyes, he's still alive. The executioner, Wright & the doctor collectively agree, that the breathing Seed be pronounced dead. He is bound and buried alive. After biting & clawing his way to the surface, Seed, the blood soaked, enraged madman, is now bent on vengeance. ¶ The reign of violence that follows will redefine the boundaries of extreme gore, physical & mental torture explored through cinema. ¶ Based on a true story. Seattle 1972."

Other movies scheduled to be screened at WOF 2007 include Frank W. Montag's Slasher, Naoyuki Tomomatsu's Zombie Self-Defense Force (Zonbi jieitai), and Philip Creager's Death by Engagement.

Wasn't this released already? Didn't someone review it? Anyway. I have that font that he uses in the titles on my computer, with the handprint and everything. He must have downloaded it from those free font sites. Way to save a buck dude.

Well Ralf Moeller was in Gladiator as well and the classic viking epic Viking Sagas (out now on DVD).

Seed was screened at the American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California on November 3rd and 6th of last year; however, those screenings weren't open to the public.

That never stopped anyone. Both AICN and Dreadcentral ran reviews of the work-in-progress that Boll screened at the AFM. That's why we know that he uses 5 minutes of animal snuff footage to open the movie.

The fact that neither of the two AFM screenings of Seed was open to the public means that neither constituted the "world première" of the movie.
