Transsiberian Pictures Online

We've been following Brad Anderson's Transsiberian around these parts for some time now. If you recall, the director describes the film as "A thriller in the vein of Dead Calm except all the action goes down on a train instead of boat." A gallery of on-set, behind the scenes type pictures have shown up online and feature the very nice international cast of the film.

Brad Anderson is a director who habitually turns out underrated films - Next Stop Wonderland, Session 9 and The Machinist, in between work-for-hire TV gigs (he has done episodes of Homicide: Life on the Streets, The Shield, and The Wire). The scope of Transsiberian seems to be a large step up for him, and here is hoping that the film stacks up to be something special. And that the reception of the film is a heck of a lot better than say that of Tom Tykwer's also pan-continental casted Perfume.
