In a few weeks the 23rd Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival will be held from the 18th of April till the 25th of April. The AFFF website shows their complete program and lists of films.
Festival director is the always certifiably disturbed (in a pleasant way) Jan Doense and he can look at an impressive line-up this year.
Highlights are the first chance in The Netherlands to see "Pan's Labyrinth" in the cinema, and screenings of "Behind the Mask", "The Fountain", and "Daywatch" amongst others.
We Dutch also get another (last?) chance to see "Paprika" on the big screen before its DVD-release next month.
Terry Gilliam will receive the AFFF Career Achievement Award, and (unlike Rotterdam) the festival takes this chance to show some of his movies on the big screen, to be precise "12 Monkeys", "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas" and, fans take note, "Brazil".

And there's a pretty big chance that SOUTHLAND TALES is the suprise film.
