Teaser Trailer: Feng Xiaogang's war drama 'The Assembly'

Shame on us. We have fallen way behind on news about Feng Xiaogang's [A World Without Theives and The Banquet] war drama The Assembly. If you want to completely catch up I can recommend no better place than MonkeyPeaches to see everything that has surfaced for this film. What came up most recently was a teaser trailer for this film. While it is just a glorified slide show it does seem a fitting format to begin to promote the project and can only mean that live action trailers will not be too far behind. The film opens in Mainland China in December. That’s a ways away but the images look stunning.
