Johnnie To's Flying Butterfly Wraps Up, Gets a New Name

Very little is known about this one beyond the title and the stars but according to a sideways mention in Variety Johnnie To's latest has wrapped shooting. The film is a romantic drama starring Li Bingbing and popstar Vic Chou. Back when we reported on it in August it was known as Flying Butterfly but the title has apparently been changed to Linger and the film will likely debut at Cannes. Which is well and good and all but what I really want to know is whatever happened to The Sparrow?

I was wondering about The Sparrow too; after watching the trailer it didn't look like another Johnnie To-just-for-money movie. Wasn't he also producing something called Eye in the Sky starring Simon Yam (as usual)?
