Thanks Wolf for posting this information. I really like this new revised version of the Hokuto No Ken series (the 80's anime series was a bit of a mixed bag for me) although I'm a bit confused about how many episodes are part of the series as it seems to be both released on OAV and theatrically. According to Anime News Network, here's a listing of the series as a whole:

Hokuto No Ken - Raoh Gaiden Junai-hen (movie) (2006)
Hokuto No Ken - Raoh Gaiden Gekitô-hen (OAV) (2006)
Hokuto No Ken - Yuria Densetsu (movie) (2007)
Hokuto No Ken - Toki Densetsu (OAV) (2007)
Hokuto No Ken - Kenshirô Densetsu (movie) (2008)

I've seen Raoh Gaiden "Junai-hen" and "Yuria Densetsu" but didn't realize there was a "Gekito-hen" for the Raoh Gaiden part.

There is a mistake in the listing of the series. Just switch around HNK Yuria Densetsu with HNK Raoh Gaiden Gekitô-hen for the proper order...what you get is this:

Hokuto No Ken - Raoh Gaiden Junai-hen (movie) (2006)
Hokuto No Ken - Yuria Densetsu (OAV) (2006)
Hokuto No Ken - Raoh Gaiden Gekitô-hen (movie) (2007)
Hokuto No Ken - Toki Densetsu (OAV) (2007)
Hokuto No Ken - Kenshirô Densetsu (movie) (2008)

Thanks for the clarification Wolf! So far, this series is vastly superior to the "Shin Hokuto No Ken OVAs" which came out in 2003 (which I believe there were only three episodes) and the prequel TV series "Seitou No Ken" (which I didn't like at all). I still have a soft spot for the first "Hokuto No Ken" anime movie in the 80s and grudgingly like the anime series, although for me part II was better. The less said about the horrendous live action movie, the better.

I would to know where I could purchase these dvds (the new Fist of the North Star - NOT the original 80's tv series (I have them all, Parts I (Ken vs Shin), II (Ken vs Raoh), III (Ken vs Raoh's brother..I want to say Kaoh?; and I have the New Fist of the NOrth Star). I am interested in ones you all have been talking about - the legend of Raoh etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You can purchase these on Ebay at the moment, just be very careful not to buy the version that "acedvd" is selling, it has subs but the subs are horrendous, and are virtually useless. the cover for the good dvds being sold have a black background with Kenshiro making a fist in the foreground with as small picture of Raoh looming over the left side(Ken's right shoulder)...

The Yuria Densetsu has just went up for sale and I purchased a copy, but I won't know for a week or two once it arrives whether or not the subs are decent or not. I sort of bites that we have to wait to 2008 for the conclusion, though we all know how it turns out... Hokuto No Ken has always been my favorite anime' series, this should tide me over till the new "Berserk" anime' is released.
