Amir Muhammad's THE LAST COMMUNIST DVD available on Amazon

Amir Muhammad's "semi-musical documentary", The Last Communist (Lelaki Komunis Terakhir), is now available on Amazon. The film, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival last year, is in Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese, Hokkien, Tamil and English with full subtitles. The Last Communist also has the distinction of being the first Malaysian movie to be banned at home. Its sequel, Village People Radio Show (Apa Khabar Orang Kampung), which also premiered at the recently concluded Berlinale, has just been banned by the censorship board.
