Give the Gift of Family Strife This Valentine's. Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower Hits DVD February 14th.

While the North American DVD release of Zhang Yimou's latest wuxia epic - freshly nominated as Best Picture at the Asian Film Awards - has not yet been announced those folk over in Hong Kong are a speedy lot and it's slated for a Hong Kong DVD release on February 14th. Yup family revolt, bloodshed and incest coming on Valentine's Day. What could say love better? I'm sure there'll be a fancier release coming somewhere farther down the line but this one is a single disc, region three release with English subtitles included.
