As soon as the REQUIEM FOR A DREAM music started in, I turned it off. Seriously, people, bury it. Let it die. It gets no more cliche than that, no lamer, and no weaker. Why trailers for THE SIMPSONS MOVIE haven't used it totally escapes me, as that's the only sort of context in which that music could work now. Pity as the film looked interesting, and I may revisit the trailer. On mute. Even James Horner's ALIENS score never got THIS played out in trailers, and that got mighty played out indeed.

well, i don't know, looks like the average hollywood-special effects fest. but it got MICHELLE YEOH !!!!

Yay, sci fi!

Why do trailers suck more often than not? There's a really slim chance the movie actually has that piece of music in it. I suppose it's a trade off, as we didn't have to endure the "In a world" trailer voice over guy.

Rhythm-X. Amen, Brother. I love that score to death, and thought it was kinda cool to hear a bastardized version advertising The Two Towers, but yep, it's been nigh on 5-6 trailers which have used the music...and it begins to grate.

Argh.

Is this a comedy?

This looks like a cheesy straight to dvd concept with a lot a money...and I love it. Instantly one of my most anticipated films.

i repeat: michelle yeoh.
and the trailer still sucks. after the trailer for 28DL I was
interested, but this: space truckers meets EventHorizon.
but never judge a book by its cover !!! there's still hope

I wasn't really interested in this movie when I first heard about it way back when. I love Trainspotting and 28 Days Later, but for some reason wasn't very pumped up about this flick. Ahhhhh, but now that I saw this trailer I have completely changed my mind. It looks absolutely stunning. I can't believe this guy just keeps getting better and better. This looks likea visual masterpiece! I can't wait!

Yeah, it's amazing how he's switched to sci-fi and is damn good at it.
