This was actually posted on AICN a couple of days ago but I wanted to make people aware of it who might have missed it, or don't go to AICN. This is an episode of Charlie Rose and he's talking to Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo Del Toro and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu about their films and their long term friendship. Fascinating stuff for film geeks and a lively interview between friends who poke fun at each other.

Excellent. I had heard it mentioned before, but I took the time to sit down with that interview and it was just stellar. I must say, I've heard Del Toro speak a few times and he was definitely toned down in that interview (just as smart, but no F-Bombs or out-of-the-blue surreally-gothic anecdotes).

This is certainly "Year of the Mexican" in directorial tour-de-force filmmaking.

Truly great interview, I made sure to DVR it when it aired a few weeks back and have watched it twice. Really insightful and entertaining, certaintly one of the program's best.

Wow, Guillermo Del Toro lost a lot of weight! He must have learned from Peter Jackson hehe. Good stuff.

Brilliant interview! It really helped me understand their collaberative process. If you could only harness the love and respect in that room...boy could you do good things. I'm definitely passing this on to some friends.
