Teaser trailer for Katsuhide Motoki's KITARO (GEGEGE NO KITARÔ)

The official website for Katsuhide Motoki's Kitaro (Gegege no Kitarô) is now functional, and there's a teaser trailer for the movie on that site. Shochiku Co. Ltd. (Shôchiku K.K.) plans to release the movie theatrically in Japan in late April/early May of next year.

The screenplay for Kitaro was written by Daisuke Habara, based on the eponymous manga serial by Shigeru Mizuki. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on official website) Eiji Wentz (Uentsu Eiji), Mao Inoue, Rena Tanaka, Yô Ôizumi, Gô Rijû, Satoshi Hashimoto, You, Kanpei Hazama, and Shigeru Muroi.
