DVD: Hidehiro Itô's 2/2

GP Museum Soft K.K. (K.K. GP Myûjiamu Sofuto) is scheduled to release Hidehiro Itô's 2/2 - a.k.a. "Nibun no ni" - on DVD and VHS in Japan on January 25th of next year. T-Joy Co. Ltd. (K.K. Ti-Joi) released the movie theatrically in Japan on October 1st of last year.

As was previously reported here on Twitch, the screenplay for 2/2 was written by Itô and Hisako Fujihira, based on the eponymous novel by Miyuki Nakajima (who composed/performed the closing theme song for, and was in, Su-jin Kim's Dreaming of Light (Garasu no tsukai)). The movie stars Asaka Seto as Rika Ueda, Atsurô Watabe as Kei Yazawa, and Reiko Takashima as psychological counselor Ayako Tomioka. According to the page for it on GP Museum Soft's website, it co-stars Kôyô Maeda, Yôko Azusa, and Takayuki Takuma (a.k.a. Mikio Satake).

2/2 was shot primarily in Vietnam.
