Free Stuff? Yes! And No.

We get much free swag passing through the doors here at TwitchCentral but seldom do they come more divergent than Warren Beatty's Reds and the jiggly silicone of Baywatch. Thus, we are doing two entirely different things with them.

Wanna win a copy of the Reds 25th Anniversary Edition? For those who aren’t sure, for those who look askance at such a proposal let me assure you that Reds, nominated for several Academy Awards is not only a really good film but would look nifty next to your DVDs of Kiezlowski’s Red, White and Blue, White Nights and Blue Orchid. And this edition contains seven featurettes featuring interviews with cast members and a historical overview of the film’s production and the events of the Bolshevik Revolution.

To win these babies though you’ve got to do two things. One show that you are registered voter and two nominate an independent candidate for President of the United States. Candidates can be anyone but you must give a reason why you chose them and a campaign slogan. We’ve got three copies. Send entries to here by October 31st.

And on to the jiggle-fest! Do you guys ever get tired of being asked to do silly things to win stuff? Well this is your turn to make us do the silly thing. We’ve been offered two copies of Baywatch Season One but we ain’t givin’ ‘em away. Instead, in the hopes of helping promote purity of thought amongst the young and hormonal we are offering a unique opportunity.

Send in your most creative method of destroying these box sets and we’ll post pictures of the event. That’s right, come up with the most creative method of rendering these DVD’s unwatchable and we’ll do your holy bidding. Burning, submersion, flushing, steel wire brushing, microwaving?

All we ask is that you keep it practical and cost free. Also we can’t video the event so it would be cool to wind up with nice pics that make us all feel that we’ve made the world a little safer from David Hasselhoff. Suggestions here by October 31st, please.
