North American release date for Triad Election a.k.a. Election 2

Triad Election [a.k.a. Election 2] by Johnnie To will have an April 25th release in 2007. It could be intepreted from the post at ComingSoon that this is a select cities release [New York only?] and then a wider release into other 'A' Market cities like Los Angeles and Toronto. There's plenty of time until then. When we know, you'll know.

In New York Film Festival, "Triad Election" got many good reviews from people who haven't seen "Election". Therefore, "Triad Election" should be good as a standalone movie.
By the way, Tartan doesn't have the Canada rights of this movie;
Alliance Atlantis has it. So you can expect "Triad Election" goes straight-to-DVD in Canada, unless this movie becomes an arthouse box office hit in US.
