The latest film from Baltasar Kormakur, Jar City [Mýrin], has been posted on the production company's site, Blue Eyes. Here's the 'synop' from regular Swarez...
The film is based on a book in a series of highly popular crime novels... The film stars Ingvar E. Sigurdsson, last seen in the rather dubious Beowulf and Grendel [see! I'm not the only one who didn't like this!], as a middle-aged police detective that is investigating a seemingly run of the mill Icelandic murder (usually the result of a drunken dispute) but stumbles on to something much bigger that spans a few generations back.
Jar City opens in Iceland next Friday, October 20th.

YOU MUST WAIT FOR THE FINAL SHOT AT THE END...
Just finished watching 101 Reykjavik, a subtly great movie reminiscent superficially to Wilbur Wants to Kill himself, although quite different in tone (just as subtly funny though).
A Little Trip to Heaven is a solid (if hard to find) little noir thriller.
If Baltasar Kormakur keeps making them, i'll keep watching them.
