It's time to decide for yourself I suppose. Relatively expensive way of doing it, but considering a couple of cinema chains in America see themselves as guardians of public welfare you could say this is a key example of how futile any attempts at that kind of control might actually be. The film itself, having already aired this week in the U.K, is perhaps a more powerful way of looking into a possible future for America post-Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, North Korea ... post-Bush?
I suspect this might be considered an attempt to do something which may not be so openly considered by American Media or public (though that's clearly speculation, I don't know the makers' intent, truth be told, I just find it an interesting idea), to appear to collapse the tentative situation that's as close to Global Conflict as we've seen since WWII and yet feels very distant and under control - because it's been managed via Bush, the media, and the perceptions of the figures involved so deftly portrayed, and yet we all still hopefully know that's quite a delicate construct that is gradually cracking open.
