Website and Trailer For Malaysian Superhero Film Cicak Man

The first trailer for Malaysian superhero film Cicak Man has appeared online and let's get this out of the way right up front: yes, he crawls up walls and does a bit of slinging and swinging. Billed as Malaysia's first ever superhero blockbuster the film uses a high degree of CG effects to create its world but there's no doubt that this is more Gagamboy than Spider-Man, a very comedy oriented loving ode to classic superheroes. Does it compare to its big budget Hollywood bretheren? Of course not, but it does look to have a certain goofy charm ...

I didnt see any weblike tentacles from his arms but he does use his tongue which lashes out just like a gecko, the animal whose powers he obtained after getting bitten in the lab.
Kind of reminds me of power rangers, should be some good ol' campy fun
