This looks brutal as hell. Better than Cannibal Holocaust or Cannibal Ferox maybe. I'm in.

You've obviously never seen a Bruno Dawn film before! Even in the 80s he was legendary as the wart on the Italian film industry's scrotum.

The infamous waterfall is in every single one of his films I have seen. Also, I demand a proper DVD release for the hilarious PREDATOR rip-off called ROBOWAR!

Oh and Jasper, I used to have a wart on my scrotum. On my left nut to be precise. I took some scissors to it a few months ago since I was to embarrassed to ask a doctor to remove it. Bled like a motherfucker for a while but it healed just fine.

You should have invited Vincent Dawn round to film it, Caterpillar!

We reviewed Vincent Dawn's latest opus at one of our recent Zombie Clubs alongside the far superior Zero Woman...

I have both his latest Cannibal movies "Land of Death" and "Cannibal World" on DVD (they are from 2003 but didn't get an US release yet).Besides his lates movies, does anyone know what happened to his movie "The Tomb (La Tomba)" he made in 2004.Is there not at least one country that released a DVD yet?

Jasper,

Yes I admit I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to this type of film. But that doesn't mean I don't like it.

Ramble on...

No wrries - I've not seen a Mattei film since the old VHS release of whatever the original title was of the film that was listed as Zombie Creeping Flesh on the British 'video nasties' list - it was by no means the worst of the titles banned in the UK in the 80s. At least it was entertaining, a classic case of 'so bad its good' in fact, which is more than can be said of Axe or Unhinged. Anyway, I'll your word for it, and credit the fact that Mattei might have improved as a filmmaker by now.
