Free Screenings for Toronto Locals

One of Todds partners-in-crime when it comes to the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, Peter Kuplowsky, is showing free screenings of a variety of twitch-type cinema on Friday nights. Free is nice. These are to be shown at Innis Town Hall - that is 2 Sussex Ave. Just South on St. George right before Robarts Library.

Tonite he is showing Infernal Affairs at 7pm. If you haven't seen this by now you should be slapped. Seriously. As much as I love Mr. Scorcese, I beg you to please let Andrew Lau's version be your intro to the concept of a few too many layers of embedded moles.

On October 6th he is showing a French Crime Double Bill:
7:00 Elevator to the Gallows Jeanne Moreau goodness directed by Louis Malle
8:45 36 Quai Des Orfevres (Toronto Premiere!) - Starring the two arguably best French actors nowadays Daniel Auteuil and Gerard Depardieu 36 quai des orfèvres is directed by Olivier Marchal best known for his cult 80s film Let Sleeping Cops Lie.
