Finally! A Trailer For Andrea Arnold's Red Road.

(Posted In Drama Film News Trailer Alert UK / Ireland / Australia / New Zealand )

redroad.jpgAll I can say is that it's about bloody time ... I've been tracking the progress of Andrea Arnold's Red Road for about a year and a half now, waiting for something to turn up online about it. Why? Well, not only is this the first feature film from Arnold since she won an Oscar for her short Wasp but it's also the first film in the Lars Von Trier initiated The Advance Party project in which three directors shot their own films using the same cast playing the same characters over a six week span in Glasgow. I couldn't make any of the screenings of this at TIFF but heard good things about it and there's finally a trailer available online.

I saw Red Road at VIFF and thought it was superb. Here is my blog entry about the film:

Does anyone know where you can buy/download Arnold's short film 'Wasp'? I've seen Red Road and would love to watch some of her earlier stuff.

Many thanks
