Dororo Live-Action Movie - Two TV Spot Online

Aside from Nana 2, the next manga series to make the transition to live action from Toho studio is Dororo (どろろ) by the legendary manga artist, Osamu Tezuka. At the official site, the first available footage for the film is online in a form of two TV spot. To get some idea on the plot, follow the link to the wikipedia site on Dororo here. The film is directed by Akihiko Shiota and it star actor Satoshi Tsumabuki as Hyakkimaru and actress Kô Shibasaki as Dororo. The action choreographer will be Ching Siu Tung. Its budget at US$16.7 million and was film in New Zealand.
The supernatural samurai film hits Japanese theaters on January of 2007.
