The official site for Fatal Contact (previously known as Black Fist/Underground Fist) is online with a trailer. Headlining the martial art film is wushu expert, Wu-Jing, who gave a badass performance as a knife welding assassin in SPL. Also starring in the film is Ronald Cheng, Miki Yeung, Theresa Fu, Andy On and Hou Shasha.
Synopsis: Wu Jing plays naive wushu player who, for the sake of the girl (Miki Yeung) he loves, to make money for her to live comfortably, and for her glory, enters into illegal matches and fights painfully against all odds all the way through. He turns from an honorable wushu player into a mean fighting machine who stops at nothing to win, irregardless of how inhumane and ruthless his blows are, leading eventually to a tragic ending.
The Hong Kong theatrical release date is on October 5th.

Looks surprisingly good for a Dennis Law film, can't wait to see it.
Sweeeeet. Wu Jing's doing alright in my opinion. I cut off the trailer when that corny song started though. :)
That corny Ronald Cheng song had to be mandatory since the movie was produced by Gold Label, the pop entertainment company that manages Wu Jing, Ronald Cheng, Miki Yeung and Theresa Fu. Just be lucky that pipsqueak Alex Fong isn't in this.
But wow, I can't believe I overlooked this before...is that Wu Jing speaking in Cantonese? Yay, no more dubbing!
Anyone know what that corny song is called??
