Some Site Updates ...

Some of you may have noticed that there's been some work done behind the scenes on the site in the past few days, so here's the skinny on that plus some things you may be seeing in the very near future ...

First of all, we've had to disable some features - notably the 'Email This Article' links - thanks to spammers hijacking the script that drove it and using our email server to spread their messages of peace and love and gland enlargement. The contact form has undergone some modifications as a result of this as well, so there may have been a brief interruption of service there earlier today.

Second, new stuff! At the bottom of every article on the front page now you'll note the links to submit our articles directly to Digg and / or del.icio.us. We recommend you do so. We're also looking at making our RSS feed dramatically more robust and customizable and possibly installing a much improved search engine. Because the one native to the site now really pretty much sucks. More details as things happen ...
