The Festival of Fear Is Here!

Hey kids, the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear has arrived and with the weatherman saying that you're not going to want to be outside much anyway, all you local folk had best get your sorry selves down to the Metro Convention Centre to get your geek on.
And once you've finished explaining to Roddy Piper that you don't want to put on the glasses make sure to swing on by the Toronto After Dark Film Festival booth. Adam and Peter will be maniing the fort for the bulk of the weekend but I'll be there Sunday afternoon, so swing on by and say hello.
And speaking of TAD, I can't say who it is yet, but we've just confirmed an honest-to-god cult icon for the festival, and he'll be bringing a good stack of unseen footage from his latest opus with him.

Day Two of the massive convention just passed, and I just want to say a big thanks to the many Twitch readers that popped by to say Hi! Peter and I were pretty overwhelmed at times. I didn't meet Alice Cooper, but the legendary scream queen Karen Black did sneak up behind me to give me a kiss and a hug - on camera no less. More importantly for all you film fans attending Toronto After Dark Film Festival this October, I scored us some excellent prize giveaways from some very cool DVD labels attending the convention. More news on that next month. But for now, erm... how come I can't feel my legs anymore? Oh that's right: 6 hours sleep and 20 hours standing up over two days.. OUCH! See you later this Friday Todd. For those of you looking to meet the Twitchmeister in the flesh, Todd's shift at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival Booth at the Fan Expo and Festival of Fear, (Metro Toronto Convention Centre), on Sunday, Sept. 3 is: 2.30PM-6.00PM (EST).
