Malaysian Black Magic in Dukun

I have only just found out about this movie whilst surfing and it looks quite interesting. I'd definitely watch it, though I'd probably have to wait for the DVD :(. The cons of living in London.....

I know this movie is about Mona Fandey who was hanged a number of years ago.

I had the unfortunate experience to have met her when she lived in Klang, Malaysia some 20 years ago. She lived just 5 minutes walk away from my parent's home.

There were rumours in the neighbourhood that she was a witch doctor but I didnt pay close attention that much.I did hear stories of her 'chanting' at night which could be heard of from many blocks away.

She seemed nice and friendly but it still creeps the hell out of me for all the things she did!!

Lucky for me that I wasn't the victim :)

I can't wait to see this movie. This is the real Malaysian horror movie ever created in history. A true story of a dukun by the name of MONA FENDI. you can find her true story on local news in Malaysia. 5 star to the producer. well done..!!!

Lol..u guys may find me a fake but Mona Fandi's former temporary home is just in my neighbourhood in Wangsa Maju,Kuala Lumpur.She rented the semi D house when she went on a shopping spree in KL after killing her victim and taking his money.The house remain abandoned.I did not live in Wangsa Maju in 1993 though.

It is true that uttered the word 'Aku takkan mati'-I will never die- before being hanged.Even after she's dead,many stories cropped up among horror magazines that her body turned into a monkey and fled into the jungle..I ave seen one magazine depiciting a monkey with Mona Fandi's face..hahaha.

This story is resurfacing as the witch's victim was a member parliament of Batu Talam district and that district just had its local election last week.

This movie is under review as the witch's family members protested when Malaysian newspapres reported that the film bear similarities to the Mona Fandy.Family members of the gullible politician who was the witch's victim said they will only comment after watching the film.This film is certainly attracting widespread attention in Malaysia.
